Projetado pelo filho, o arquiteto e cen\u00f3grafo, Fernando Valentim que na d\u00e9cada de 1930 dividiu o castelo em apartamentos, forma encontrada de manter a propriedade. A arquitetura \u00e9 ecl\u00e9tica e tem aspectos de fortaleza. Atualmente \u00e9 um cond\u00f4minio residencial com oito apartamentos.<\/p>\n
Localizado no alto do morro o castelo proporciona uma vista expl\u00eandida que abrange a Serra dos \u00d3rg\u00e3os, a Ba\u00eda de Guanabara, o Parque do Flamengo e a cidade de Niter\u00f3i.<\/p>\n
